WORST customer service experience

Reviewer: Lindsey Olsen

If you are looking to sign up with this company, I highly recommend you do your homework as they are renowned to be the WORST company for resolving issues and complaints. Go Daddy has totally ignored our problems after 6 months of telephone calls and emails. I wouldn't recommend Go Daddy's webhosting services to anyone.
A very good price and great service

I was recommended GoDaddy as a reliable and affordable host by a friend who is well versed in these things, and I have to say hes been proved absolutely spot on. I have had no problems at all from the package and the price has been excellent, plus the whole deal is very good and covers every angle I could want. I needed a little help and called the technical help line and was dealt with in minutes – a long way from the next day service I have been used to in the past! Thanks GoDaddy for great service at a very good price.
Beware of Go Daddy

I hosted my company website with Go Daddy for over a year. No real issues, expect the contact phone calls to upgrade your plan. At the year mark I upgrade my plan from 1 year to 3 years. A month later my e-mail, and my website shut down. The tech support was no help at all so I filed a complait and still no answers. Beware of this company.
Bad Customer Service from Godaddy

They changed nameservers but not one email notifications to the clients, I pointed my domain to their nameservers ns25.domiancontrol.com & ns26.domaincontrol.com in August 2010, and now I have other domain, I also pointed this new domain to ns25.domaincontrol.com & ns26.domaincontrol.com, but it was failed. The reason is they used new nameservers.
And I emailed them to ask about this problem and they can't help me anything, while I must pay fee for company selling domain if I want to change nameservers again.
I'm very disapointed about this service. and you shouldn't use this hosting service in any cases.
Not a hosting company for serious developers

I could write a whole essay, but i'll keep it short. This is a hosting company that is trying, but hasnt got what it takes when you're a web developer to satisfy a web developer like myself.
The customer service support is basic, they dont actually listen to your problem, but just parrot talk back solutions that they're probably reading from a set of predefined questions. This is extremely annoying when you're a developer and you know something should work, but some robot on the other end is ignoring your logic and reasoning, choosing to just babble back at you whatever its saying on their screen. The control panel is confusing at first, but does have some good features and does give you a fair bit of control over your site, though there is a learning curve to this.
Terrible terrible experience, they offer value for money in terms of features overall, but fall flat on their face when it comes to dealing with their customers issues, and took away one of the most important features to my daily life that i require for building sites.
