Go Daddy Review : godaddy.com

After sever months with Go Daddy, I have had at least 15 downtime experiences. All related to database connections with wordpress. After the last tech told me they do not support this software, that was my last straw and I am now going to dump them as my host. I have 6 other hosts right now. Just Host and Blue Host are far more superior. Hope that this review helps somebody in the future.

Some of your tech support people are great. Others...not so great.

To be honest, I have been thinking about looking for another webhosting company. The response from Go Daddy to my last big issue was unbelievably helpless and took much too long to hear back from them. Disappointed with their service.

I signed up with Go Daddy to reserve a domain name for 1 year almost year ago. Having done nothing with the domain name during the year, I was notified that my account was coming up for automatic renewal on 10/28/10. I stated my intention was not to renew. They provided me a link to cancel my account and then proceeded to charge my credit card 7 days prior to my renewal on 10/21 for a service I explicity said I did not want. I'm still waiting to hear back from customer service.

This server have many pros- storage space, unlimited domains, and more, but it takes a lot to load a page really bad. I don't recommend this host if you expect to have a fast server.

I was about to take up a cheaper offer when I was recommended Go Daddy by a friend; it may not be the cheapest deal on the market but I can confirm that my friend was right – this is a quality service provided by a dedicated company that stands by its promises. With 24 hour technical service on tap and a wealth of features that make the whole package a worthy purchase you will be well catered for, and I have experienced no problems at all. If you want to save a couple of dollars a month then that’s up to you, but I’m happy to pay a little more and be assured of a seriously good quality service.
